I DESIGNED THE FIRST-EVER NIKE ID SHOES IN CANADA!
I kind of feel like Kanye after having designed my own sneaks. And being the first Canuck to do it has me pretty chuffed, too. Last week I sat down to chat with Nike athlete and Canadian Olympian triathlete @paula_findlay. I was invited on behalf of @glowmag as part of NIKE.com’s launch as a Canadian shopping site. That’s right! You read that right! You can now shop on @nikewomen’s website.
As for my training shoes, Paula and I played with a white base with snakeskin print, a metallic swoosh, a Tide Pool Blue midsole and laces for the Nike Free Training 5 ID shoe. It’s a bit daring for my neutral taste, but Paula approved and she suggested the colour combo. (Thanks @paula_findlay!) It’s about time I owned something with snakeskin print.
